Last Friday I experienced what I believe to be a uti. Somewhat pressure and burning sensation, and I left it all day untreated unsure if it was an ingrown hair or something. Friday night I felt like it was a uti. Saturday morning I had sex and that made it worse. So I drank water and cranberry juice all day Saturday and Sunday. As well as taking AZO pain medicine. By Monday it felt a lot better. It was sore (I assumed from peeing and wiping so often). Tuesday I felt good as new. I had sex Tuesday night and tonight and both times after sex it felt like a burning/throbbing sensation for at least 20 minutes after. I’m on my period now, so I can’t go to the doctor to take a urine test because it could show false positives due to the blood in my urine. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this pain normal? What should I do?

We aren’t going to have sex for a week to see if that helps, but I’m very nervous and would love some help and advice if anyone has gone through this.
