Moving🏠: Starting late with an OB/Midwife

I live in TN. But I will be in NC for the next 4 or 5 months and I just found out I'm newly pregnant!

How late must I sign on to a midwife before they won't see me? Because I haven't ever seen a DR in North Carolina. I want to deliver at a birthing center when I return to TN. I'll call them next week but still asking you ladies ☺️

I'm in no rush to see a DR while I'm here in NC if I don't have to. I'm a vet mom 😆
