Should I stay home?

I woke up today with a migraine, dry cough and a fever of 100.3 farenheit. My employer strongly discouraged us from calling out the day after Christmas and I already know one coworker who did because she's still travelling. I feel absolutely miserable, have been sleeping all morning + am so cold! My shift is short, only 4-9:30 and I live a block away from work so it's not a big commute.
Do you guys think I should call out? I'm scared they won't believe I'm actually sick. My gut tells me to just suck it up and go for my shift but what if I get somebody else sick?
Update: Fever rose to 100.6 even after taking acetaminophen so I called out.

Stay off. You don’t owe your employer to come in when you’re clearly not well. If you’ve picked up a virus or bacterial infection then you’re probably contagious and could pass it on to others. Ring, apologise, and don’t be bullied into coming in. I’ve done that every time I’ve tried to tell them I was too sick to work and it only made me more unwell. You need to rest.

Usually with a fever you’re considered contagious until 24 hours after the fever has broke without any type of medication. Depends on what you do for work. If you’re working around food, that’s a health code violation. Push the fluids, alternate between Advil and Tylenol and see how you feel. If you have to call hours in advance, I would just call for just in case.
