Hcg draw at 4 weeks

I had an ectopic pregnancy in April, so when I got my BFP I called my OB and they wanted to track my levels. I had my first blood draw today at exactly 4 weeks and it was 662. The range seems to be so wide with hcg... but does that seem high? When I took my first test at 6 days before my expected period the test was soooo dark. Any one have this experience? Does it mean twins? Thoughts.
