I started feeling symptoms today and bought azo, do I need antibiotics? Will antibiotics reduce the effectiveness of my birth control?

Yes you do need antibiotics i get them often and tried a million remedies and nothing works so plz get urself some antibiotics before ur infection spreads to ur kidneys and no they dont interfere with ur bc

Yes you need antibiotics. If you let it go it can turn into a kidney infection which can make you go septic. I’m a RN and see it happen all the time

Yes you definitely NEED antibiotics. Don’t test at home. You can end up with a kidney infection(and they’re absolutely awful. I thought I was dying)

You could try D-Mannose, it works for some. But you’d have to start it right away. You almost always need antibiotics, especially if it has been a few more than a day with the symptoms. It’ll just get worse even if the AZO polls mask the pain

Yes you do NEED antibiotics for a UTI. Please get seen. A girl on here just recently posted about getting sepsis due to a UTI left untreated. What happens is that the infection spreads and can lead to so many bad things. Get antibiotics and ask your doctor and your pharmacist if the antibiotics you’re on will affect your birth control.
