Feet swelling postpartum?

Is it normal to have swelling in my feet and ankles although baby was born 9 days ago?

Yes! It happened to me for WEEKS! I'd get out of bed and start crying. Its totally normal and it goes away for a lot of women.

Yep, my feet and ankles were so swollen I couldn't wear shoes- it was soooo bad and looked absolutely disgusting. 🙈 I must've asked my Dr 10 times if there was something wrong and when it would go away. Dr said as long as I wasn't in pain or having vision changes there was nothing to worry about. The swelling finally went away after about 2.5 weeks. It was really sudden - there one day, totally gone the next.

My ankles, face and hands were terribly swollen at the end of my pregnancy and the swelling didn’t go down for two weeks after!

Yes it is normal but if it gets excessive I would call your Dr. Do you have headache or blurred vision
