Really low TSH levels!?!

Hi ladies I am beyond worried. I just received my blood results digitally and saw that I have a very low TSH level (0.051 norms start at .3 up). The T3 and T4 levels are normal though. Anyone have anything like this?? I'm assuming I have to wait till Monday to call the doc. In the mean time I am worried sick as to what this can mean?!!

Very normal for first trimester. My midwife told me HCG mimics TSH so your body often naturally produces less TSH until HCG levels go back down. No need for panic.

I am diagnosed Hyperthyroid, controlled with meds. Sounds to me like you thyroid is high-normal, a good thing! Docs want to see it high so that baby will have enough thyroid hormone. Deep breath. I know those numbers can be scary, but trust me, they would intervene if necessary.

I'm sure your doctor will call you if they are concerned about your levels.  My understanding is the T3 and T4 are free levels and are a more accurate thyroid test. I've had lower thyroid levels and biopsy done on my thyroid and it's scary when you get those results. Hopefully it's an easy fix, try not to worry. I noticed my thyroid levels were much better when I switched to mostly organic foods. I hope this helps. I'll be sending positive vibes your way.

Mine were high at 8 weeks amd then at 11 they were fine. You might have to go to a specialist throughout the pregnancy
