Sign shaming is a real thing. Theres good and bad people of all zodiac signs, and being a Gemini or a Scorpio doesn't make you a bad person. Some people seem to think so, but it's not even science. It's too broad. That's why it's relatable.

Answer

There’s much more to it than the sign based on your birthdate. There are signs for the sun (birthdate) which is a very general one, the moon, and all the planets except for Earth for every person. There are also house placements, but I haven’t looked much into those. Mostly just the planets I know about. The planetary signs are based on the positions of those celestial bodies in relation to you at the day, time, and place of your birth. 
Of course you can believe whatever you want, but I hope this helps anyone curious about astrology know a bit more about it ☺️
