Anyone taken Sudafed while pregnant?

I’m 32 weeks with a nasty cold and cough. The cough is the worst at night and my doctor said to take Sudafed but I’m super nervous taking anything. Even Tylenol. Lol

My doctor told me Mucinex was better. I've had the same cough and I'm 39wk and have been scared to take anything too!

Sudafed from behind the pharmacy counter yes. Sudafed PE or whatever it's called, no. Regular sudafed was on my doctors ok list.

I took Sudafed during my first pregnancy for congestion. This time I had a bad cough that kept me up 4 nights in a row. Midwife and GP both advised Mucinex DM and I finally got a night's sleep.

If it has ibuprofen you shouldn’t take it

Robitussin is good for coughs. Don’t take Sudafed. It could elevate your blood pressure and affect blood flow to uterus to your baby
