So my 18 month old had her first Christmas where she isn’t next to mommy the whole time and she’s starting to mingle with her other cousins who are 3 and 2 year old boys. The 3 year old boy is very rough with the other kids, especially my daughter. There have been several occasions where he snatched toys or things out of her hand and shoves and pushes her. His mom has a newborn baby so the entire time she was busy but when she did catch him she would tell him to behave, but he doesn’t listen to his mother. I’m the one having to talk to him at eye level and explain to him that he needs to be nice with my daughter because she is still a baby. He just looks at me and runs away, and a few minutes later I catch him doing something mean to my daughter again. I’ve told him that I’m watching him and he will hit her in front of me and I tell him I can see him but he is still messing with my baby girl 😤😤😤 I don’t know what to do , I can tell his mom but she won’t do much, I can have my baby next to me but she wants to explore and venture on her own and that’s when this boy takes the chance to mess with her. I dont want to yell at him or cross the line because I don’t want to make a big deal but seeing him shove my baby pisses me the fuck off... what should I do next time?
