I let him have a girl best friend but if I have to cut my guy best friend for him, he must do the same. He doesn’t like me having any guy friends so then that applies to him with girls. It’s a 50/50   Rule.

Friends but not best friends. I don’t consider my self controlling cause I don’t tell him what to do or what he can do. But if it came down to it I’d tell him if I’m uncomfortable with that friend.

It’s not my choice who his best friend is, and if it happens to be a girl then I hope she gives him the best advice when he goes to her with issues in his life. I’m his girlfriend, yes, but that doesn’t mean I have to be the only female in his life. Personally my best friend is a guy and I’ve never even kissed this kid, so I feel completely comfortable with him being best friends with a girl.
