Positive stories for colds?!!

Help. I'm in need of hearing some positive stories about newborns with colds. Both my SO and I have colds after this holiday season and I'm terrified my LO will get it, he's only 2 months old.
Is there anything I can do to keep him from getting it? Anyone have a cold go through their family and their baby didn't get it? We're formula feeding too so it's not even like he'll get my breastmilk! I'm so scared of him getting RSV 😫

My son caught a cold at 2 months old, was totally fine! Just a bit of a runny nose. I used saline spray with the nose frida to get the excess boogers out and put rolled receiving blankets under his bassinet mattress to elevate him a bit. We also had a cool mist humidifier going

My daughter got a cold when she was 6 weeks old. It did last a long time but it didn’t turn into anything worse. Obviously it’s best if they don’t get sick that early on but all you can really do is try your best to wipe everything down with cleaner or Lysol wipes, make sure you wash your hands a bunch, don’t kiss them while you’re sick, etc. Just remember as many scary stories are out there, there’s also a huge amount of babies that get sick early on and are totally fine. Try not to worry!

my baby had a cold for around 2.5 weeks! was horrible, she’s sometimes cough so much she couldn’t catch her breath & would turn blue :( but she was absolutely fine! she was prescribed some medicine x
