Pregnant?

We use Fertility Awareness Method as BC (I can’t take hormones). We always avoid sex during my fertile days. We had sex three days before my period and used no protection but now my period is three days late. pregnancy test obviously says negative because I’d only be a week pregnant if I got pregnant this day. Is this even possible? Can your body release eggs when not ovulating? I’m so confused and stressed!
