Birthday parties???

Question

Hey, our kiddos’ birthdays are coming up! Are you guys doing birthday parties and if so how do you plan to celebrate? I think We’ll do a little dance party, light snacks and cup cakes.  There are going to be around 5 kids at our house starting at 9:30am till maybe noonish? Never thrown a kids birthday party before. Anyone have any tips for a successful party?

We’re going to spend the night at an indoor water park. Some of our friends with kids will meet us there for the day. We’ll do cake with family. Last year we did pizza and cake for family and friends with kids 2pm-5pm same the year before. We’ve been to parties at places like bees backyard, trampoline parks, gymnastics gyms, and Chuck E. Cheese. They’re usually 11-1, 12-2, 1-3,or 2-4 depending on the kids age. 9:30am is early to me. And I like parties after naps so I don’t have miserable kids getting tired. My family and friends (and child) are eaters, so I don’t even know what ‘light snacks’ means lol

I personally don’t think it takes much to make a successful party for a 3 year old. At this age they play well with other kids there age so they pretty much entertain themselves. We had cake and some finger foods and just hung around to until it was time to open gifts and cut the cake.

Doing a party with about 10 kids! My daughter loves frozen so we are having a frozen party! Elsa is coming! Super excited!!

We are going to do a party at her school (daycare)Princess theme. It only going to be 6 kids. And 3 adults

We are doing a small party at our house with close friends and kids. I did a big party for his 1st bday and it was way too stressful for me. Keeping it small and simple. And with ice cream cake of course 🤤🍨

We are having a pretty big party but it is almost all family. Both of us have large families. There will be about 36 adults and 6 kids. We are having pizza and cupcakes. We have a small blow up bounce house that we will set up for the kids and Corn hole for the adults.

We decided no party and to make a memorable day as I'm pregnant and cant handle the stress especially because my daughter turns 3 on the 4th and it's just so close to the holidays

We're just doing a party with family and a couple of his friends. Starting at 4pm and doing pizza and salads and stuff. Keeping it simple til he gets a bit older and makes more friends at school.
