Crib mattress?

Question

Looking at cribs and mattresses presently, what is everyone getting for their mattress? Foam? Or coil spring? Any specific brands? Love to know your thoughts and feedback! Thanks!

Make sure its green guard. You do not want your newborn baby breathing in all those chemicals. Also, get it early...like now and take it out of the box to have the offgassing be over with by the time baby arrives.

We got the newton. It’s very cool! First kid so I can’t speak to how it will be but I love it in theory  and have heard great things 🙂

I’ve used Sealy ultra firm foam mattress for my first daughter. Whichever you get, just make sure you get a firm mattress for baby.
