Are floor length curtains okay to have with little kiddos? (See Pic)

We are moving to a new house and as I am planning our decor, I love the look of floor length curtains (like below). 
Are these practical to have with little kids? My son is 8 months old and we will likely have more in the future.

I have two toddlers and floor length curtains, they play hide and seek in them from time to time but leave them alone for the most part. Just establish them as a non-play spot, make it a rule that they leave them alone and they’ll learn.

I'm the unlucky one with kids who have always pulled on them as babies. You could get them and if the see them as a toy in the end maybe take them up?

My one year old has floor length curtains in his room. He does play with them pretty often, but the rod is sturdy so he can’t pull them down (yet). He loves to play peek a boo by pulling the curtain in front of his face :)

Depends on the child. Some might pull on them. I have floor length curtains in my 16 month olds room and she never messes with it.

I have a 3&1 y/o. Every room has floor length curtains. Obviously their beds aren't near the windows but we haven't had any issues.

I have them through my house with no issue. I did hem the ones in my daughters room when she was a toddler, but mostly because they were in the way while playing in there.
