I think this is the right forum to post under...
Anyway, I am 18 and I have had sex. And my mom (who i’m living with and still depend on) doesn’t know. I know that if I tell her, she’ll be mad at me. However, don’t I need to see a gynecologist now that i’m no longer virgin? And if I must, is there any way I can avoid telling my mom? Will I need insurance if I go?

If anything you can start getting pap smears done. I don't believe you have to tell your mum. But if you do it's your life your old enough to make your own choices

I was very scared to tell my mom but after i did i felt so much better. You should go to the gynecologist but you don’t HAVE to. you can go by yourself since you are 18 but you do need insurance or you will have to pay for the visit. Also since you are 18 and your mom goes technically they are not allowed to tell your mom anything because you are an adult now unless you sign a paper saying you don’t care if she knows what’s going on.
