Well I would expect my husband not to text me much if I were with friends, & vice versa, unless something critically important were to occur. It's rude to be on your phone a bunch when you're with friends.

I wouldn’t say he has to text u all day long but a text here and there throughout the day isn’t hard. It’s 2019 ppl r constantly on their phones so I wouldn’t believe he puts it down all day and never picks it up.

Yes it is. It used to really bother me, but then I realized it's just him being present with his friends. He doesn't like being on his phone when he's with his friends because he finds it rude. I get worried about him easily because i have anxiety and catastrophic thinking, so my mind will instantly go to the absolute worse case scenario. Once he realized I didn't want constant communication just to know he was okay, he started sending ❤️s or a quick message so I knew he was okay. Now it doesn't bother me at all. He went with his friends to Vermont and Maryland and he sent a total of like...5 messages to me all day. But he was with his friends having a good time. I don't need constant communication, just to know he's safe

When me and my fiancé are with friends we rarely text. He’s usually out hunting, or shooting guns or fishing or whatever so he leaves his phone in the truck. He will occasionally text me off his Apple Watch but rarely. He finds it rude to be on his phone all the time with his friends, but I’m the same way. If I’m with my friends I’m not gonna sit there and be on my phone texting him the whole time.
