How much is too much?

How many items is the norm to put on a registry? I have 275 on mine and I don’t want to come off selfish of anything me and my husband both have very large family’s but I don’t want to come off greedy or anything, what do you guys think? Do i have too much on there? I obviously don’t expect to get everything I just want to give people options

With my first I had a target registry with 50 things on it, an amazon registry with like 30 things, and a pottery barn registry with like 10-15 things. People didn’t buy everything from the registries, but at least they had lots of ideas and options to choose from, then my husband and I just went and bought the rest of the stuff with gift cards or our own money. Can’t hurt to have lots of options for people to choose from. Just make sure it’s all stuff that you want/feel like you need, so that people aren’t just picking stuff off the list and then you wind up not getting what you truly wanted. Some registries allow you to prioritize items, like I think target does. To pick the few things from your list that you REALLY want, & other people can see it and hopefully get you that stuff first lol.

Put every single last God forsaken thing on that registry you want. I had over 150 items on mine. It gives people plenty of options . Just don't get upset if people don't use it. Making a registry is fun. We are having #2 no shower but I still did a few items I want for #2 I didn't have for #1. If it's a girl I will have a sprinkle with just my girlfriends. If a boy, nothing.
