Eggwhite but a negative OPK

Hello,

I've been testing ovulation twice a day (at noon and at night) I've had negative OPKs. But today when I used the bathroom 30min ago I noticed egg white discharge, very clear and extremely stretchy. I was able to stretch it about 3inches. I immediately took two different brands of OPKs and they were both negative.

I know that egg whites means fertil according to what I've read. I've also had some minor cramps. Could I have ovulated already? Or am I about to ovulate? Why would my OPK be negative?
