What is a UTI?

Exactly what is it that causes a uti when a woman has too much sex?!? I've never had a uti but I hear they are awful and I just want to know what to do in case I ever do have one.

Bacteria, mostly.  The "too much sex" part  most likely comes into play when both parties don't wash themselves in between sessions.  For a woman, the entrance to the urethra is (most commonly) placed inside where the vaginal entrance is. Saying both have hot and sweaty intercourse, don't wash, then do so again. There's a high chance that there's some bacteria present.

A UTI is an infection, and it's horrible, there are multiple reasons, but mine was caused because I didn't pee after having sex and that bacteria obviously didn't come out and stayed up there causing me to have painful cramps and spotting. Cranberry juice helps a lot, but I'm also on antibiotics at the moment

Urinary tract infection. Basically you get bacteria in your pee hole.

Uti is also under the influence if talking about drinking
