Who would you go see?

My husband and I have been Ttc for a year and absolutely nothing. Does it matter if you go straight to an Reproductive Endocrinologist or OBGYN ?

It depends on your insurance. Some insurances require a referral to go to a specialist, and some dont. I'd start with finding that out first. I had to get my referral from the dr listed as my pcp

Depends on your insurance. Go see an OBGYN first. Some specialists won’t even see you until x amount of time has gone by and you’ve worked with your OBGYN for x amount of time TTC.

You probably have to start with your OB to get tests ran and then a referral to the endo.

I had to go see my regular OBGYN first, who would refer me to any other socialist if it was out of her scope of practice. My OB can prescribe meds like clomid and synthroid, and can run pretty basic tests, but can’t go any further than that.
