3 days late!

I was supposed to get my period 3 days ago I did get a little bit of bleeding one day but it wasn’t like I need a heavy pad, I’m wasn’t sure if it still counted as If I started we’re trying for a baby just don’t want get my hopes high should I take a test or wait it out?
