Did you give up coffee prior to starting your fertility treatment? I know research says 1-2 cups a day is fine so more curious than anything!

If its hard for you then change for decaf coffee.

I had switched to decaf but when I had my first appt with an RE this month he told me to stop completely. He said caffeine is fine, so I can drink tea if I want, but studies show there is something else in coffee that can affect fertility. Obvious, ppl who have no problem getting pregnant can probs drink coffee and get away with it. So if your one of those lucky ones, then by all means don’t give it up! Unfortunately I do not fall in that category, and as much as I love coffee I gave it up to give myself a better chance if that is true! These fertility drugs are no fun, so anything I can do to up my chances I’ll definitely jump on! (: Good luck girl!!

My dr told me 1-2 cups a day was fine but the more I read and more you tubers i watch doing ivf have said to completely cut it out i was drinking coffee every day and need it every morning but am trying to completely cut it out and i agree i do think i am more anxious when I drink coffee

My acupuncturist suggested I reduce my caffeine in take. He suggested replacing coffee with green tea. Prior to this I did drink a lot of coffee. I now mainly drink green tea, but will occasionally have a fancy latte. I probably drink 3 to 4 lattes a month. I used to drink 2 cups of coffee a day.
