Private ultrasound, worth it?

I’m 14 weeks and want to get a private ultrasound this week but my husband doesn’t think it’s worth the money($50) he just want to wait until our OB anatomy scan. What do you lady think? What does your husbands think?

I tend to see that the private ultrasound to be a better experience if you want to have family involved lol. I’ve gotten two so far and Im getting another one on Tuesday for gender. The pictures are so worth it

It was the best $55 I spent! The tech took their time, I got a Cd with 39 pictures of my baby on it, we were in the room for 15-20 minutes looking at baby. 
I am absolutely going again when I’m further along. I was 15 weeks exactly when I went.

We have a couple where I live, and one that I went to doesn’t require their techs to have any kind of schooling. While I’m sure experience can be okay...it was a really poor experience :/ she gave me the worst pictures! But the other place I’ve gone to requires them to have the schooling, and I have the best experiences there! They gave me the best photos ❤️ and it’s nice to know our babe is okay.

I will always opt for private scans with my last pregnancy i got one at 31weeks and it was absolutely amazing seeing his beautiful face in such clarity my advice is drink alot of water before any scans to get a better image

We found out our gender today via private scan at 15 weeks and my hubby was on board the whole time!

I spent $135 and it was worth it! I got digital copies, hard copies, 2D,3D/4D-HD viewing, 30 minutes of seeing my baby, gender, and a stuffed animal with the baby's heartbeat.

My OB's office charges $100 for their "second trimester gender ultrasound." If you don't want to pay, they don't do the scan! (Their policy feels really off to me. But, I guess it is what it is. 🤷🏼‍♀️) I've been considering getting a private ultrasound since it looks like that's actually going to be cheaper for us. I'm just unsure whether there are any private places close to me since I live in a rural area.

We went right at 14 wks. It was great to take my boys (4 yrs and 16 months) and not have to drag them to the hour+ anatomy scan for them to see baby. The tech though was rough, pushed down so hard, and the pictures weren’t as great quality as I thought they’d be. It was still very clearly a boy and I’m so glad we did it. My husband was 110% on board though. It’s not necessary but it was a nice splurge for us.

I only said not interested because I already know the sex from a genetic test.  But I also paid for sneak peak so if you’re after the same thing, then heck yeah it’s worth it!!
