How's BLW going for you guys?

Question

How much meat do your babies eat? My family is weird about me feeding him meat, is this a weird/rare thing to do? Also, about how much food are your babies eating on average? 
I was at my family's house for dinner and we had ribeyes, mashed potatoes, and corn. I fed him a little bit of everything, is this what you all would typically do, or would you skip the meat? I just can't keep up with his appetite so I feel like he needs protein. 🤷

He eats all meat. His first meal was steak

I feed my baby everything. Except shellfish and honey otherwise it’s fair game. Everyone remarked how well she eats. The other night she has turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and green beans. I also let her have as much as she wants if it’s not junk food.

Our LO loves meat. It’s important bc they need iron. I serve my daughter meat at least twice per day.

Meat is probably one of the more important things really - milk is their main nutrition, but things like their iron store start to deplete from six months, and meat is a fantastic source.
My boy grasped the finger food concept really well at six months and was very interested in food, and wanted to eat, so found a way to get things to his mouth using his hands in all sorts of weird ways. I feel confident giving him anything now.
Meat I normally just give him big chunks. Most of the iron in meat is in the juices, so even if your baby is just sucking at it, gumming it but not swallowing a lot of actual meat, he's likely still getting lots of iron 👌

I’m just now starting on this and I feel so behind. Our daughter just turned 9 mos and she still has 4 bottles a day and purées twice a day. Do you guys still give your babes all the bottles too? Where do I start. She is definitely interested in what we eat. I’m scared about sodium content and all that too

We’re doing traditional weaning but our girls completely off purées now. She eats everything we do- she actually just had kielbasa and loved it. If we’re out eating or like for Christmas dinner she just ate exactly what the rest of us were eating, meat and all.

Everyone is amazed at what my baby eats! It makes mine and my husbands parents so nervous how we feed her but honestly she is so amazing with food! Shes only ever choked once and it was scary and I cried after but it was such a mom instinct to smack it the heck outa her. It hasnt made me feed her any less she eats everything!
