Anyone know anything about filing taxes??

Not sure where to post this. 
I’m wondering how do we file if my husband is the only one working? Does he file head of household or do we file married filing jointly? 
We filed jointly last year and it was a mess because they kept asking for my w2 and I obviously didn’t have any since I’m a SAHM.

If you’re married and lived together the second half of the year, you cannot file as Head of Household. Your options are either Married filing joint or Married filing separately.

I believe you have to make like $6k plus a year to file. Otherwise you don’t need to. I would have him file separate from my experience.

He cannot file as head of household, married filling jointly or married filing separately, but there is absolutely zero benefit in filing separately, you get so many more allowances if you file jointly.
