Please help! Batch cooking...

Hi! I’m scheduled to have a C Section and wanted to batch cook family meals so that we’re prepared. I was thinking of batch cooking some family meals like spaghetti bolognese, chicken curry, sausage casseroles, cottage pies etc. I’m just wondering, do I pull them out the freezer the night before wanting to use them, pop them into the fridge and re heat the next day? Or just defrost on the day? Do they taste the same as freshly cooked?

If anybody else has any batch cooking tips please share! I’ve never frozen meals before 🙈😂 x
