Hospital visit needed?

I am 5 weeks and began lightly spotting 2 days ago, today it has picked up to the amount of a normal/heavy period. I am fairly certain I am miscarrying. I am trying to get through to my OBs office. Do you need an ER visit this early in or could it be ok to wait until I go to her office 1st thing in the morning?

are you cramping and in pain? i’m having bleeding and she said it’s normal during first trimester

My ob said as long I was not bleeding through a pad in one hour that I could miscarry at home. So sorry you're going through this.

You can wait and see your OB- just see if u can call and get through to a nurse for further advice. The ER won’t be able to do anything if you ARE miscarrying.

Are you bleeding red blood and going through a pad an hour? Or have pain? Or clots?

I would go to the ER. Spotting during pregnancy is normal, but as heavy as a period is not. If you are going to miscarry it’ll happen whether you go in now or wait. But this way they can let you know for sure so you don’t stress until the morning.
