Nursing strike?

So my son has been a great nurser so far but today he will act like hes hungry suck a few time and then scream.   
Only change was Friday night and saturday morn we had to give him an oz of apple juice for constipation which seemed to pass.   Any ideas on it?

It's extremely rare for a breastfed baby to be constipated! They can go 10+times a day, or once every 10+days. 
As for nursing strike there's a lot of information/tips/tricks on Kelly mom. My son does something similar when he is overtired or something else is bothering him like a wet diaper.

You should be careful giving a newborn anything other than breastmilk or formula for the first 4-6 months. Their gut isn’t closed yet.

My daughter will do this when she is gassy or during her witching hour when she is all riled up. I will give her a pacifier to calm down a little bit and then latch her again. That usually does the trick! I also try to massage my breasts so the milk comes out a bit faster too.

My guy is bottle fed Bc we couldn’t latch, but he will do this sometimes even on the bottle when he is really hungry and doesn’t feel like the milk is coming out fast enough to satisfy his tummy. It’s like he is giving up and screaming “THIS ISNT WORKING!”
Give it a few more go’s and he’s content. I think his tummy just has to communicate with his brain to tell him it’s working
