hey sooo i emailed my doctor about how my cycle had been messed up since september . (my periods are two weeks apart and very painful and i bled for 12 days straight very heavy this month) ( i’m on BC pill) and she said that i should take a pregnancy test if i’m sexually actively (i am) and come in asap to get my blood tested for thyroid and insulin issues etc. soo basically i haven’t taken a test bc i’m scared & confused bc she wants me to take a test although i’m bleeding .. anyway my question is tomorrow morning i’m going for the blood work. will they test for pregnancy regardless if i haven’t taken one or not? like do they always check for pregnancy before getting bloodwork like that ?
