Can blue/green eyes skip a generation?

A little random post.. 
My mum has blue eyes and my dad has green.. I have light brown eyes. 
Is there a tiny chance that my daughter could have either colours? 
My partner has brown eyes! It’s not important although I believe it’s possible..

I have friends who have blue eyes. One of their children has dark brown eyes. I didn't even think that was possible but low and behold.

It's hard to know, eye colour is so complicated, generally if both parents have brown eyes then the baby would have brown eyes but like I say it's so complicated 
I have blue eyes and my husband has brown eyes and our daughter currently has greeny coloured eyes 🤷‍♀️

Yes possible! My sister has blue/green eyes like our grandmother, our parents have light brown cq brown eyes. Most likely is brown eyes though.

Any colour can skip. My family and I have all got green eyes.. my children have brown/black.... they came from a different partner.. the man I’m with now has similar situation, his side and him have brown eyes throughout the family but our baby has green/blue.. so it skipped with my last two kids and went back to this baby

Okay so both my parents, grandparents on both sides all the way to 5x great grandparents have very dark brown eyes. The all have a mix of either red hair or brown hair. 
So then comes my sister and I. I have blonde hair, blue eyes. My little sister has red hair and green eyes. Turns out my 6x great grandpa on my dads side had blonde hair and blue eyes and his wife had red hair and green eyes so that’s where we get those from. It’s all basically a lottery. At least that’s how it was for us.

I think it might be like other things where the brown color is the dominant gene? So if you and your husband both have blue/green in your families, there’s probably a 25% chance you have a baby with blue/green but 75% chance that they’re brown? I could be wrong, though. Not sure if eye color is like other genes or not.

My husband and I both have green eyes.. 
All 4 of our children have blue. Like really blue.
My mum has brown and my dad has green..
My husbands mum is green and dad is brown..
Eye colour is so strange.. I don't think it matters what mum and dad or nan and grandad have, but it does somehow come from someone in the family 🤣
