What is the symthoms of autism in toddlers?

Autism affects everyone differently. What may be signs in some wont be signs in others. I'm 24 and I'm going through the diagnosis by myself as my mum didnt see the signs when I was younger due to it affecting me in different ways. A lot of people think its kids not meeting milestones or they wont talk and so on, but I can say there is alot of autism kids who are extremely forward.  Kids meet milestones at their own pace, same with autistic kids, some are behind and some are forward. I'd talk to your dr as you'll get mixed messages on here.

We just had our daughter “tested”. It was free and a licensed person came fo our house and went over a while list of stuff and did some one on one playing with her. It’s so varied for each kid it’s best to get a professional opinion 
My daughters 3.5 but still doesn’t say a lot that was our biggest concern. She also doesn’t do a lot of eye contact with people which was another concern to the person who did the testing. So now she does have a milk autism diagnosis but they said there’s a chance she will fall off the spectrum over time

If you're concerned, then speak with your pediatrician. Although this is something your pediatrician should already be watching for at each appointment anyway so if they find something concerning, they're going to let you know.

Talk to your pediatrician about this. So much information online but it can almost make you paranoid if you’re not careful. So just keep a diary of behavior, food intake, etc and talk to the doctor.

There are so many signs i definitely suggest googling them and talking to a Dr.  The most common two i believe are they won't make eye contact when they talk to you and they aren't big on affection. But definitely check with a dr. They have ways to check for it

My nephew was diagnosed when he was 2 & the main things for him were the zero verbal communication, walking around on his toes constantly & he would come up & pinch you on the face when he was trying to tell you he was upset
