Hi Ladies, DH (dear husband) and I are back at it again trying for #2. This is the first cycle he’s not pulling out. I had my IUD removed back in late August, and I THINK my cycles are getting back to normal finally. 🤞🏻 It’s been a weird ride so far post IUD as I’ve gotten several faint positives along with two negative blood tests. The after each round of faint positives, I get what I think is my new normal “period”.

The first time it happened. I only had light spotting for two-three days. I considered that a period and brushed off the weird symptoms as my body adjusting.

The next cycle if happened, I had a normal 5 day period.

This cycle started on 12/17. We BD (baby dance (sex)) on 12/18 (gross I know, but it had been awhile). My period until 12/20, then I had very light spotting on 12/22. We BD (baby dance (sex)) again on 12/23, and then again on 12/27. According to the app I have, O (ovulation) was due on 12/29.

I know it’s extremely rare to O (ovulation) on your period, and it’s extremely rare to have a period during pregnancy as I’ve been pregnant before, DD (dear daughter) is 17 months on 1/11. I have no idea what’s going on with my body though. I noticed that I’m producing colostrum again last night, and I haven’t breastfed in over a year. I quit when DD (dear daughter) was 6 months old, and I’ve been dried up for about 4-5 months now. The only reason I noticed was because of the “crust” that you get from that before I was getting in the shower. I’ve copied a link to my last symptoms pre pregnancy below. I know I show symptoms early, the tests are just negative now though.

Anyone with any insight please feel free to give me advice. Can producing colostrum be a sign of early pregnancy with the second kid? Am I further along than the tests are showing? The doctors won’t go any further without a positive blood especially since I’ve been having a monthly period. I don’t want to demand one and look crazy, but I’m truly confused.

Edit to add: I’m not doing OPKs yet as DH (dear husband) doesn’t want to go that far the first cycle of trying. He just wants to let it happen “naturally”. (His words, not mine) so the O date is a total guess.
