So I stumbled across some really lovely birthing videos from a local Midwifery Facebook page, and let me tell you these things have me tearing up this morning. They give me hope and remind me what all the struggle and worry is for. Also they make me want a different kind of birth experience this time around. With my first I was induced and hooked up to soo many cords wires IVs ect. I couldn’t move around, or labor in water or on all fours like I wanted, it was awful. Just on my back for nearly 24 hours of labor. I’m plus size so they considered me high risk. This time around I hope to advocate for myself better, I want to know if I can get one of those birthing pools but set up in my hospital room( like what if I bring it?) What birthing experience are you hoping for?
