dry conversations with boyfriend

my boyfriend has been out of town for about a week now. our conversations have been getting shorter and shorter and i really don’t know how to feel about it. last night, for example, he went to bed at about 1am i texted him at about 11am which is the time i woke up and he didn’t respond until 2pm. the same thing happened yesterday and he said he has work (he works at about 7 or 8am and is out by 2pm) so i didn’t really think much about it. anyways he’s been taking 1-2 hours to respond the whole day and when i asked him what he was doing (to try to initiate a conversation) he said ‘nothing’ after like 2 hours. i know i probably sound crazy but i feel like he’s ignoring me since we don’t really have anything to talk about at this point :/
