How many co sleep?!

I do.  I use an owlet.  I didn’t plan to but he absolutely wouldn’t sleep alone.  I don’t really mind cosleeping and we follow the safe sleep 7 to minimize risks.  Someday he won’t want a cuddle so I’ll take all the snuggles I can get now.

We co sleep due to problems my step children had when they were babies. My step daughter almost died of SIDS,  she quit breathing multiple times and spent 3 weeks in the hospital,  and each time she was sleeping in her crib with no pillows or bedding like you're supposed to. After that my husband was too paranoid she'd stop breathing again so he put her in bed with him and she never did it again. 🤷‍♀️ baby's don't read the parenting books so I say you take care of your baby whatever way feels right to you.

I don’t because of concerns about SIDS, especially early on when we were zombie-level tired. I can easily put my baby next to me in the bed, but I’d be so anxious about falling asleep that it would be impossible to close my eyes. Then I’d get no sleep at all.
However, what we have done is the baby snooze alarm in the morning. He pretty consistently gets up for a feed around 4 (used to be 3, but lately he’s getting later with it...hope that means he won’t need it soon). He’ll go back to sleep very easily, then get up and be wide awake between 630-7ish. We are both still out of it and not ready to get up at that point, so we go get him from the crib and he hangs out with us until we are ready to get up. Neither one of us really sleeps like that, just kind of lay there with our eyes closed and resting but not asleep, if that makes sense. I hear that’s pretty common (at least a lot of people I know have done that).

I dont do it with my 2nd born because I did it with my first born and now she wont get out my bed and shes 3! Lol. I regret doing it so bad. I will put her in her bed and she will wake up in the middle of the night crying to get back in bed with me.

I don’t because a baby I cared for died of smothering cosleeping with her father on the couch. At 2 months and 1 day old. 
Needless to say I am more careful about most than most people.

I do sometimes. Like when my baby was sick with RSV., our doctor even recommended it because of the risks of RSV to our baby were more dangerous than cosleeping at that point. However we didn’t before then and haven’t since he’s gotten better.

Nope we dont. We love to move around and have the freedom to toss and turn or have our blankets wherever whenever. And we want to sleep worry free that we wont suffocate her or roll on her or punch her in our sleep etc. We also have our pup in bed with us since we got him (5 years) and thats how we keep it "the norm" for him since we brought baby home. It sucks enough for him that we pay less attention during the day so we didnt also want to take away our bed sharing with him too

My husband has PTSD from military and can have very active dreams, so we decided not to have her sleep in our bed or bedroom in case she gets woken up or she wakes him up.
Plus, I don’t share my bed and barely tolerate my husband in the bed with me lol I didn’t want my daughter in the bed. It’s mine and my husbands alone time.

I dont have anything against those who co-sleep and I am in no place to tell anyone what to do with their children but I personally couldn't do it. I move a lot in my sleep and so does my husband. Our closest friends have a 1.5 year old that still doesn't sleep through the night and still sleeps in bed with them and they think his sleep problems could be related to their cosleeping but that's just a guess🤷‍♀️.

I dont because I am terrified of SIDS and don’t trust myself, my husband or my 100 pound German Shepherd or 110 pound Cane Corso enough to do it BUT that doesn’t mean there haven’t been tough nights that I didn’t think/ almost give in.
