Kick counts??

Question

Does anyone else’s doctor have them doing kick counts already?? I’m 20+4 and my doctor wants me to start doing them as of today, log them and take them with me to my next appointment. This is my second pregnancy but I’m considered high risk so I’m wondering if that’s why they want me to start doing them already. Anyone else?? Also, here’s a picture of little lady’s foot just because it’s so stinkin’ cute!!

Are you able to feel a lot of kicks/movement? It could be because you’re high risk! My doctor doesn’t necessarily want me monitoring them until 28 weeks!

I'm high risk as well and have a few other pregnancies as well and have never been told to start counting kicks this early

This is my third pregnancy and I am high risk aswell was also high risk with previous two pregnancy and they didn’t ask me to do this seems a bit weird

In the UK we dont do kick the counts and it goes against our health service guidelines. We get told to monitor movements later on so as soon as we get familiar with  babys movement pattern. 20 weeks is very early but if you're high risk I can understand why.
