Can't have an epidural - advice?

I'm on my third pregnancy, and after having 2 induced and extremely painful births in the past,  I'm faced with the feeling that I can't go through with the pain again! I can't have an epidural as the last birth proved after 5 attempts to site one, it's impossible. The first birth I had I was high on pethidine and the last one I did it on nothing at all.... The gas and air does nothing!
Has anyone been told they can't have an epidural sited? What did you end up doing? I'm assuming I can't have a spinal block either due to my back. How did your birth go? Was it a cesarean?

Are you against preparing for an unmedicated birth? Studying coping mechanisms and even “hypno birthing” techniques can help cope with the experience of unmedicated birth - it just takes studying and preparing prenatally.

I wasn’t allowed to have an epidural or a spinal due to a bleeding disorder I have. But our son was breech, so I needed a c-section. Had one under general anesthesia.

Do I’m medicated or ask for a planned csection where you’re asleep. If they can’t do an epidural they can’t do a spinal

Epidural anesthetic drops my blood pressure to scary low levels so I cant have another one. I'm planning for an unmedicated birth. Hypno and meditation techniques mostly

Im not allowed to bave an epidural because i have buldging disks and vertebra out of place. So i have no suggestions other than the gas, try breathing techniques?

Have you asked why they can’t site it properly? Maybe that’s something a chiropractor can help with

They may try a spinal block you can definitely have one rather then a epidural x

C section they use epidurals too. When I had my c section it was a c section. If you could do that you could do a normal epidural as it’s the same thing. I wouldn’t want to do surgery without it 😬😬 unless you’re put under may be. Does your hospital offer gas?
