Don’t Lose hope Ladies
So, here is a little back story. I met my husband almost 6 years ago, we’ll reconnected. He was living in Charlotte,NC and I was back in Upstate NY. We started talking November 2013, made it official January 2014. He flew me to Charlotte for my birthday in February and he moved back to Upstate in April. Without even trying we got pregnant in July 2014. Our son, was suppose to be due March 22,2015 but he came 5 days after my birthday 2/17/15. He lived for 2 months and passed away. Since then, we have been trying for 4.5 years to get pregnant. My husband and I have been married 4 years just last October. We moved down south and have been here for a little over 3 years. Just like some of you ladies, I have been disappointed month after month, year after year. I went to a fertility doctor when I first moved down here and they said everything looks fine. I did not undergo any treatments though. I have been disappointed but I Never lost faith. My husband birthday is in November and our marriage has gotten so much better since we decided to heal from the hurt in our past and move forward. I downloaded Glow app again and a flo app to track my ovulation. Between the two apps some days were the same while some were off. But, I made sure to keep us busy with the Baby dancing. After reading everyone’s comments on Glow, I felt like maybe I was pregnant, and this was after Thanksgiving. Yet, I wasn’t too sure, I kept reading some of you ladies comments, and I was very hopeful. But, I became sad, and said to God, I believe I am pregnant, but if I am not, I am going to be very sad. December 9th came and that’s when I was expecting AF, when she didn’t come, I’m like could this be.... But, I was worried because how I felt down there, I kept running to the bathroom thinking it’s going to come any day now and AF always comes like clockwork. 5 days past, missed AF. I prayed and asked God, let this be a surprise I can surprise my husband with as a Christmas Gift. Sure enough, I took 2 pregnancy tests. They both were positive. I surprised my husband with a gift wrapped up, telling him we are expecting. He started crying and hugged me. The next week he buys 2 of the most expensive pregnancy tests, one that has a digital that reads pregnant, and another. Those two were positive. Then, I continue to read on Glow all the women whom got their BFP for Christmas and some that said they were expecting twins. Being that my son passed away 4.5 years ago and my husband and I have been trying for that long. My husband and I always said, welp we hope we get double for our trouble. So, I felt like maybe I’ll be carrying twins because I keep seeing it. Sure enough, I went to my first appointment today and soon as she did the ultrasound, my Doctor tells me I am carrying two. I am beyond excited, for those of you ladies that have been trying for awhile with no successful, don’t lose hope, your time will come. Though I was disappointed, I never lost hope and I always kept the Faith. God is real, and all you have to do is trust his timing. It’s going to be a great New Year for us!
