Concerned about Braxton Hicks at 23 weeks?

I'm 23 weeks today with my little boy and ever since early this morning I believe I've been having braxton hicks contractions. It feels like my whole tummy from one hip bone to the other is tightening for a minute or two and then releasing. Its uncomfortable but not really painful. They're irregular now but this morning they were consistent. Should I be concerned? I can't contact my midwife because the its takes at least 45 minutes to get a warm body on the phone and then someone leaves a message for them to get back to you and that usually happens the next day.
