My 6mo projectile vomited at daycare today a few times. Husband went and took her to the doctor. Threw up while they were there twice. Dry heaving. Crying. They said give her pedialyte 2-3oz per hour. No formula until tomorrow as long as holding pedialyte down. She went 5 hours until she finally had a wet diaper. (Had several wet this morning before the throwing up started). Came home from the dr and finally peed, drank 2oz pedialyte and holding it down now for an hour. She’s exhausted and resting. Any advice? Praying she keeps it down and keeps drinking it. Anyone have experience with this? At what point do we go to the ER? If not drinking and not peeing? Pediatrics nurse recommended 6-8hours but oh my gosh that seems so long! No fever btw.
