Clicking sound?

Recently my 2 month old has been doing this clicking sound when breastfeeding, it doesn't hurt, she still pees and poops a lot and she empties breast. She actually ends up over eating sometimes. I'm not too too worried, but more so just curious, why would she be possibly doing this? And does anyone else's baby do this?

The sound of a click is usually a break in the latch, it can be from a forceful letdown or if the baby is gulping quickly. If your nipples don't hurt, baby doesn't have bad gas, and is getting plenty of food, then everything is probably ok.

Mine does this too when nursing and with bottles and have wondered the same thing! Not sure why

My daughter clicked and eventually it stopped.  We had patch issues and she had to deal with a lip and tongue tie.  As long as the milk is efficiently transferring and no pain then you’re good

My youngest son clicked while nursing and my nipples always hurt. He wound up having a lip tie and we got it fixed!
