I gotta vent guys. Me and my husban are the lucky rare couple that never fights but Im so livid rn! Im complaining here so I dont lose my $×!+

We had a plumbing issue a couple weeks ago and had to rip up MY WHOLE bedroom out 3 weeks before my due date. The cement had to be roto hammered, old pipe came out, new one went in. (Me and husband are currently welders but we both have worked in construction in many areas). Been nervous but content and peaceful throughout the whole project.

Now I'm 3 days away from my due date, having contractions LIKE CRAZY (so to top it off Im emotional)

Everything has gone great. Slow, but great. My dad is also a general contractor, so this whole project has been covered and with knowledge. They poured cement 2 days ago and being 9 months pregnant I haven't been able to help with this project (nice in a way lol).

They BUTCHERED the cement!!! Like WORST JOB I'VE EVER SEEN! AND IVE BEEN CALLED OUT TO FIX OTHER BUTCHERED JOBS!!Nothing is level or smooth, the ground is like stucco with high and low grooves!!😱😱😱😱😱😭😭😭😭 the cement is level with my tile in the laundry room, so now I have broken tile cemented in, and cant put new tile down! Im literally balling!!(Im definitely pregnant emotional, but this is so disappointing!) There are wires sticking out of the cement through a walk area and holes throughout the cement!😱🤬😱!?!?!?@?@?!??!?@?#?,#*#&$&$&!!!😭😭😭😭

Im 3 days away from my due date and been on my hands and knees trying to brake cement all day with a chisel. Im so upset. I've gone through hell today with crying and then being like, "Okay. Its okay, just get it done." I'll go back to work n then just start crying again, then calm down and do it all over.

Im so disappointed! And then I start to feel bad because I should be "thankful " for all their hard work, which I am, but Im in complete disbelief on this one. They both know better and even worse they both know as they cut these corners and were lazy and half fast about it that it wouldn't work and we would have to fix dry cement in order to even put carpet and tile back down, so it makes no sense!! I should be laying carpet and getting my room back rn, but we now have pain staking labor we need to put into it and god knows how much longer it will take to fix. Im so upset!🤬😭😭😭
