What cycle day is best to take clomid?

My doctor has started me on 100mg and says start my First dose on cycle day 2-6 ? Has anyone done this? Iv read lots of people start on day 3 or 4?  Even 5? Any success?

I took 100 mg cd 5-9 for 2 rounds and while I ovulated earlier and my lp was longer, I did not get pregnant. Switched to cd 3-7 for my third round and I’m pretty sure switching days is what worked for us because we are expecting a baby girl in June 🥰 Good luck and baby dust!

I would do what your dr tells you it’s for a reason . I started mine 3-7. I missed my first pill this cycle and I asked if I should start on day 5 and she was like no just wait until next cycle . I would stick to their recommendations.

My dr always tells me take them cycle day 5 to 9 I got pregnant the 3 times I've done this but every doctor is different 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
