HOW do you get a 2 year old broken from the bottle??? No matter how much I brush his teeth, they are still yellowish and have little brown spots on them. I’ve heard something about bottle rot?? I had never heard of it before, but I don’t want my son’s teeth rotting out. How do we get him from a bottle to a sippy cup? He takes a cup absolutely fine during the day with water and juice, but when it comes to nap time or bed time he will throw a screaming, kicking fit (to the point of him gagging from screaming so much) until we get him a bottle. Please help, I don’t know what to do. :(

UPDATE

He has spent literally the whole day screaming and crying. He has thrown fit after fit after fit, but I have not given in yet. If I had known about any of this, I would have broken him from the bottle so much sooner. I didn’t know the damage it could cause, and I’m glad I know this now and won’t make the same mistake with my second one. Please pray for us tonight and the next few days as we prepare to do these next night and days without a bottle. He is currently drinking a sippy cup full of water.
