Toddler running around house of car enthusiasts

My brothers are gear heads and work on cars in their attached garage all the time. They do all sorts of things like take apart and rebuild engines, body work, painting, etc. They don’t remove their shoes when they come in the house.

My toddler is over there often, running around the house and sometimes crawling on the floors. Is there anything to be concerned about, like exposure to metals or chemicals or anything? Is anyone else in a similar situation?
