Dry skin?

Y’all how do I help this!! I can’t even wear foundation because of how dry my skin is. I’ve tried all kinds of primers, hydrating spray, but I’m stuck!

Do you wash your face regularly? A good skin care regimen involving washing and exfoliating and then moisturizing twice a day is really help. Take it from someone who has awful dry skin on my face year round. If I don’t do all of those things I look so caked while wearing makeup.

esthetician here! hyaluronic acid is your best friend! works wonders for dry skin, better than moisturizers. apply liberally multiple times a day and you will notice a drastic and beautiful difference!

I work at ulta and the philosophy water cream is really nice. apply it before makeup when you go to sleep. I have dry skin and it helps a lot for me

I use a hydro boost from Neutrogena and rose water works great for my skin I also use serums with vitamin e and collagen ... I would be exfoliating as well with this

Exfoliate in the shower w a wet wash rag to get all the dead skin off, then moisturize w jojoba oil

Try using a scrub once a week (walnut shell free) examine the ingredients and aim for as many naturally sourced ingredients as possible. 
Then each night or morning too if you find it works with makeup, use an oil. There are so many to choose however steer clear of highly comedogenic oils such as coconut oil. Grape seed oil, jojoba oil and hemp oil are all great and are common combinations. 
Moisturise in the morning if you don’t use an oil, I also recommend researching the ingredients in your makeup. Usually if you can’t pronounce them they shouldn’t be on your skin. Sometimes makeup settles into the skin such as in the photo because of the ingredients. 
Mineral makeup can be very beneficial and can be found in liquid foundation better suited to dry skin. 
Lastly an oil cleanse at the end of the day helps remove all traces of makeup then following with your regular cleanser after that. This is called a double cleanse. This ensures your products can deply penetrate the skin once all is removed and is super beneficial to keep your skin in check!

I use Noto Botanicals Deep Serum for my face.. i have dry skin as well. It is a bit expensive but works wonders for me!
