Teething ....? FTM

Our daughter is 10 weeks old. She has been very irritated these last couple days. She usually sleeps long at night for 7-9 hours, barely uses her pacifier, very happy 24/7, and never cries !! Today and yesterday all she wants is to be held, she cries a lot more, not eating as much, using her paci all day, upset, and is constantly gnawing on something.

Could this be teething ??

Not true, not "too" young to teeth. My first baby got his first tooth at 4 months old, & my second at 3 months. I think my 2 month old is teething as well.

I figured as much. I read teething can begin at 2 months but average is around 6 months. Every child is different too 😊 I knew something is off with her. She’s usually so happy and outgoing. thanks for your clarity.

Maybe a leap or growth spurt?

I know when her growth spurts or leaps are !! This completely different. She is teething as I see a white spot in her gums.

My 2 month old is currently teething. The earliest I can start is 2 months.

No..too young to be teething. Earliest teething happens is 5 months...is what my dentist said. I would say baby just needs so extra snuggles, could be discovering her hands by putting them in her mouth. :)

Considering the fact that I had my first tooth in at 3 months, I think your dentist was probably wrong😬
