Is it ok to have a baby shower for your 4th kid ?

My husband dont think we should have one for our 4th kid (last one is about to 8 years old) he thinks they are for single moms or young parents(I'm almost 34 and he will be 40 soon)

I believe its a baby shower for the first baby and maybe a sprinkle for the second baby. But any other children that come along you don’t have a shower for. By that time you should know what to get for a baby or already have everything. Now if anyone offers a gift that’s a different story but no parties.

I personally would never have more than 1. When people say “every baby should be celebrated”...there are ways to celebrate babies without asking people for gifts.

Have a sprinkle of you want! Every baby should be celebrated and diapers are always needed even if you have everything else you need.
If people wanna go they will and if they wanna buy something they can but either way I recommend having a registry on Amazon for thing you may need... cuz you will most likely still need things for this one especially if the next youngest is 8.  With an amazon registry you can get their 20% completion discount 1 month before your fue date so atleast you can get a discount on things you buy that you need.
I'm having a 2nd girl that will be 3years apart and I asked my mom to throw a sprinkle for me lol
This baby will have her own room so there's still room essentials needed, carseats and I need a new carrier and bedside sleeper but I also dont expect people to get stuff from my registry however I'd love diapers lol
You can also just do a diaper party.

If someone else wants to throw it for you, whatever, but you can only really get away with throwing yourself one baby shower imo

Ok I'm new to the pregnancy thing again. I have an 11 and a 9 yo and #3 otw. What is a sprinkle?? I don't remember ever hearing that mentioned when I was pregnant with my youngest. Anyways my best friend is throwing us a baby shower without me asking & my family has asked if anyone is planning a shower so I personally see no problem with it if there's a large age gap.

My sister in law was pregnant with her 4th and I threw her a sprinkle party! It was fun and worth it because her oldest is 7 now and she needed girl clothes and other stuff! I say go for it! 🙂💕

We’re expecting our third, no baby shower, but the beau is doing a diaper party..I’m not sure how some ppl feel about doing one for every child, but I don’t like the idea..and I diaper party is a win because the beau has an excuse to drink with his friends, and diapers are always needed!

I've never had a baby shower I'm in the UK so when I had my first and 2nd they wernt that common then when I had my 3rd my mum couldn't be arsed to plan one for me, so this time round after 3 girls I'm having a boy I've decided I will plan my own one as this will be my last baby x
